Found this in dicks. Its a bolt for a crossbow that has a rubber end on it. Used to decock your crossbow. Instead of shooting a good one into the ground and possibly not finding it.
Paid i think 12 bucks.

Oh man shot one in the ground once and it hit a rock just under the dirt and it EXPLODED. No matter how you do it... Be careful!

This old man in my old lease shot 3 dummy bolts into a log on three consecutive hunts
Most of the time I carry mine cocked and knocked back to the truck, and shoot it into my target. I carry the target in my truck with me since it is small
