don't wear orange during bow season. but i'm also on private property. have to wear during gun. the man will get you. a guy up in ga. 3 seasons ago got caught 4 times without orange(GW) his wife was so pissed, she sewed orange vests to all of his hunting jackets so he won't forget. "lol" "lol"
According to this year's Georgia Hunting Regs:
Archery hunters must wear at least 500 square inches of hunter orange during primitive weapons and firearms deer seasons except in Archery-Only Counties.
got it figured out. the misunderstanding is the use of terminology. georgia does not have a muzzleloader season--- it is called primitive weapon season. Archery season is called archery season. :clap: :clap: so that means NO orange during bow season.
Yeah, after looking at it again, they should have put that sentence on hunter orange in a different place, instead of a section on "Additional Archery Season Information". Of course, this is Georgia we're dealing with! Thanks for making the call and double checking.
