I know there are always lots of questions about broadheads. I am looking for your personal expirences. I am looking at 2 different heads the T3 by G5 and the Rage 3 Blade. What expirences have you all have with either one? In the past I always used Thunderheads the most. I use spitfires and gobbler guillotines for turkey, but looking for a really good mechanical for deer and hogs. I have shot Rocket brand before with very poor results. Thanks for the input. I would stay with the Spitfire's.
If you're going to shoot from a ground-blind with shoot-through mesh, I would go with the G5 as the Rages aren't known for working out too well. From a tree-stand, I don't think you can go wrong with either. I shoot the 2-blade rage and the little lady shoots the G5 so I guess I could recommend either.
I have had nothing but bad experiances with Rages and so have a few buddies. They seemed to open up straight off the string. But on the other hand I have heard other people talk good about them. Maybe i was doing something wrong. Im sticking with fixed blades from now on. No worries then.
i have heard about Rage's opening up too, one on my best friends switched from Rage to the T3 and he likes them. just like to get lots of opinions. He has even had them work good shooting through the mesh.
