Shot the power belts cause that's what my CVA Optima manual told me to get. After reading bad reviews on take down/blood trail perfomance, thinking about trying something new. Gonna try some of the Hornady FPB bullets. Anyone have any experience with these. Should I go with the 300 gr or 350 gr?

Everything I've shot with the powerbelt has either died on the spot or I watched it drop sooon thereafter. 223 grain.

Hornady SST 250 gr is what I use now . Killed 2 bucks and 2 hogs , all dropped where they stood , and bullets exited everytime . I use to shoot powerbelts , never lost a deer , but they also never left a good bloodtrail . I use a CVA Optima Pro , 100 yard group is less than an inch . I won't be going back to powerbelts .

Please do. That's more for me! :clap There again I'm not splitting hairs @ 100 yds either.
Shot a huge doe (around 170lbs) and a nubbie (130lbs) up in PA and both died within sight. 2 pyrodex pellets.
