anyone shooting blackhorn 209 powder? as of now i aint shootin any other powder the stuss is fast and so clean its crazy. and not alot of smoke almost none. the price is gettin way steep for it in stores but man the stuff is sweet, cleans up with plain old hoppy's as same as smokeless does and is as fast and easy to clean as a centerfire powder and as they say there is no swabin needed between shots none!
just switched to 209 this season and will never use another powder again :taz
Heard nothing but good stuff about it. Wish they made it in a pellet form
i personally dont like pellets, i like to customize my loads, my current gun lives for 80gr. of blackhorn with a 45cal .452 300gr. hornaday xtp, in a harvester 50cal .452 sabot. shoots them all day like this.
