Here is a map of the area I am hunting. This is a big hardwood tree line that runs thru the middle of pines(which are now cut back in January and not depicted on the map. It is a 11 month clearcut that is grown up head high in brush)

All the darker areas are now cut.
The green line shows the spot I park and the path I walk in.
The yellow pins are spots I put my climber. I climb 20-30 feet inside the tree lines, and 30-35 feet on the edges so I can see down into it.
The blue circle is a confirmed bedding area. I walked in there in archery season because a lot of the deer were going/coming from there. It is a higher magnolia/palmetto ridge that is pretty thick. You can see a denser color inside the circle.
The red line is a thicket that runs the lenght of the tree line and is about 40 yards wide. There is a game trail in the middle of it that looks like a fire break it is so wide and has been used for so long(travel corridor). Just North of the red line if you look close you can actually see a creek that runs thru there. It is dry right now
The yellow circle is a cypress "duck pond". Not much water in it right now.
All the white lines are paths that I have seen deer traveling this season. There are a bunch more too. I have seen around 75 deer. several hogs, and well over 100 turkeys from this area since beginning of archery
along the bottom of the blue circle and along the bottom of the red line,
are two distinct rub lines. The bucks have shredded every tree in a path that a blind man could follow
I pretty much need a N, NW, or NE wind to hunt this area

The purpose of this post is to make everyone aware of tools that are out there to aid you in your scouting.

Here is another spot. This tends to be more productive in the afternoon hunts. Stand 1 is where I killed the hog the other day

The three circles are cypress ponds/ti-ti thickets that a human cannot get into. It is just too thick. That is where the hog went that I lost during muzzleloader season, and the hogs came from that I shot last weekend
The scrape I have marked is what is called a "community scrape"
I can go by there at any time of the year and it has been freshly worked. At least it has been that way for three years I have been hunting here. I shot a doe off of it last archery
The reddish area is myrtle bushes within the planted pines. If you walk out in this stuff there are hog tunnels under it
