According to the GW, you can take them, since they are non-native species, are not on any endangered list, and are not on the prohibited list. I've been back dozens of times hunting and scouting, and I haven't seen one long enough to get a shot. The last one I saw was 2 years ago during pre-season scouting and again during the first day of general gun last year.

Drawing for the Sambar hunt is coming up. Anyone else thinking of putting in for it. Myself and a few buddies are gonna give it a shot. :clap

There were a couple red stag in Sandhill hunt club. My buddies dogs got on them and they killed them. Even had their pictures in woods n water

Very true,my friend killed a fallow doe in Sandhill a few years ago.

They came from the "game ranch" :rolleyes around Salem. When i was in there I was waiting for one of those 140-150 class bucks to get out of the pen.... it would sound like the beginning of WWIII if they ran one of those bucks across a road :gangsta. Wait a minute, it sounds like that when they run a 5" spike across the road too 😆

On my side of Lochloosa before state got it land owner let a local guy keep cattle on it.He was given a deadline to remove all cattle from it.That was several years ago and there or still a few cows out there.They or plum wild.they do not get feed or anything.It has been alot of years since he was to have all cattle gone

Hes the pile i found last weekend..went back yesterday with the real camera
