I think they would go moldy on you in that kind of #'s, plus if using a spinner if you cut the holes big enough for acorns you'd never be able to use it for corn again. JMO

JUST DID A SEARCH AND THE FL. BLACK BEARS EAT THEM LIKE CORN SO THERE GOES THE FEEDER IDEA.

Bears love acorns. My last lease we had very few oaks, and the bears would climb up in what oaks we had and break the limbs out to get to them before they dropped

Acorns work great for feeding,I did it a lot this year. I don't know if they will spin out of a feeder but the deer ate everyone I put out with the corn. I filled a 1 gal bucket 1/2 full in about an hr. Lot of work picking them up out of the yard.
