Im doing a tournemet on the 21st. I hear summit has some good fishing but wanted to make sure. We have 4 hours to fish an were are starting at Lake shipp. What baits are working there? Im headed friday to prefish see how everythinglooks

Lake Eloise was supposed to be a hot spot a few weeks ago, but haven't heard much lately. I'll see if my nephew over that way has heard anything.
ok thanks, I was looking at a map an lake elosie has the most structure as far as docks an the tires from cypress gardens Im pre fishing it friday morning. I might try to pitch those docks an work those tires. there are acouple inlets around there with private docks i might try an hit.... does that sound good?
Any structure that provides shade in this heat could be productive. You might also try the bridges over the canal between Lake Shipp and Lake Lulu. If I remember right you can get through there if your boat is low enough and you duck down. We fished from a john boat with a little 5 horse kicker, but last time I fished it was over 25 years ago!
