Went fishing today an found a nice little creek off the side of the road an must have caught 20-25 10inch an under bass where were there mommy an daddy? I was using live night crawlers is that why i was catching the babies?
the big ones are still guarding the beds.. I was catching all small ones.. and this week the medium sizes. Hopefully by the end of the month the biguns will be ready to tear it up.. At my pond the big ones stay under a 4 foot wide floating mass of foliage. It goes around the whole pond.. I dropped a lure and got a bigun.. looked like at least 7 lbs.. he was jumping like a tarpon.. then went right to the bed and i got caught under that thick crap and the line snapped..
That sucks.@crock1... there was also some bass with orange in there i guessthere were baby peacocks. also was snatching up sunfish an blue gill. Hopefully if i keep hitting that creek ill hit the jackpot.

some of my bass have red spots under their mouth.. when they jump it looks like they are bleeding.. lol
