If you are ever out to eat and they have grouper on the menue and it's under $10 you are eating tilapia or some kind of :chinese catfish.

haha, grouper under 10$ thats a joke.

I had a friend who used to work for a fish market in John's Pass many years ago, and he told me they would take COD out of the box and repackage them in Grouper boxes. But never heard of them doing that to Tilapia. I knew they sold it in stores, had it once too, and it was good. Just never equated store bought with the stuff in my pond.

There's a place in Venice that has a grouper sammie with fries for like 8 bucks. 😆 And the snowbirds think it great. It's good eats but I know better.
