one of the local taxidermists takes forever, he has had some peoples deer, hogs, for years and has just gotten burned out on it i guess, dont really know why he takes so long. i would be pissed if i dropped off what i considered a trophy and did not get it back after more than a year of waiting, and in some cases 7 or 8 years.
A year is a little long I have to admit,I meant he may have switched fish with you.The one in the pic looks way bigger,the mount looks good,just smaller.My buddy killed a nice bull elk this year and he was gonna get a euro mount,instead he mounted the antlers on an already mounted bull.He just switched the horns on a verysimilar bull.
We use Bo Reed in Bushnell,Fl. IMO he is one of the states best. He just has a lot of clients that hunt Africa, and here and has a waiting list. He'll tell ya straight up it will be awhile for anything and if you can't wait he'll tell you he' sorry. He didn't do my euro mount because I didn't want to wait on it so I used a local guy that used the real skull.

Bo Reed does some awesome work. My buddy used to work for him years ago when his shop was in clearwater. Another guy that worked for him named Lee opened his own shop and does some real quality work also.
I've known Bo for a long time,Wonder if we no any other people. I'm planning on bringing him another deer this fall. lol
