I used to sell jacks to the Haitians on Fort Myers Beach. $2/lb on the head. I would catch them while they were chummed up when I was filleting fish.
I've had smoked jack once. It was nothing to wright home about. Then agian i've also have had mountian loin, goat, dog and would not shock me if I have cat. Little place I would get the best short ribs at got closed down for all the missing cat in the area. :chef

trigger fish will beat out most fish in taste its nice white meat
better than dolphin,grouper,snapper,red fish,snook and hogfish? why do I think thats not an accurate statement?
