Me and my son went out there today looking just to get out of the house more than anything. Just needed some fresh air after staring at hospital walls for the last week.
The USF rowing team was out there today, so it made the first hour interesting. I trolled crank baits, rattle traps, beetle spins and fuzzy crappie jigs, but no bites. Pretty much threw the tackle box. Talked to a couple others and they didn't catch any either. Pretty sure I saw specks on the depth finder, and if I had the notion I would go back with some minners and anchor on those holes.
It was fun to get out of the house and go for a boat ride regardless. ANy time I get to take my son fishing or hunting is a blessing.

Good stuff... Funny how your boy looked like he was about to get sick at about 55 seconds into the video. suprized how smooth it was for riding in a boat.

Ha ha you're right, it does. He was just clowning around. I've had him on boats since he was in diapers and he has never come close to getting sick. Haven't taken him offshore yet, but I plan on it the next time I go and know it's going to be a calm day

Neat. I have always wanted to go there. I heard that place holds some fish too.
