Recently moved here from Tampa so the area is all new to me. If any of you have hunted or fished this area any info would be good to hear. I mainly like flats fishing and inshore and there is lots of that here. Drop me a line if you like .

Congratulations on your M/L buck! Interesting video. I shot one last year late in the afternoon. I knew there were 4 or 5 other deer in the field but when I shot, several more deer jumped and scattered in all directions. I found one or two tiny spots of blood. The dog went nuts, deer in every direction, she didn't do her job. Early next morning we went back, I put her on the blood spot, she went about 30 yards and stopped. There was the buck up under a downed pine. No blood trail to follow other than 2 spots, made me wonder? When we got the deer back to the house and dressed him, he was full of blood. Being in the Panhandle, we had a cool night and no problem with the quality of the meat. Every shot needs to be followed up, even when it is very questionable.

3 days of Muzzle Loader season in FL and I finally got that buck! I say 3 days for archery and couldn’t get a shot at doe (Links to videos below) Then I sat 3 morning for ML and got that buck! #beagleroutdoors #floridahunting #floridadeerhunting #Floridamuzzleloaderhunting

I eat it!! Have like 50 lbs of deer meat in my freezer! Sucks cause that buck will be shot if i dont get him. Just the nature of where i live.

Nice batch of deer. let them young bucks go another year or so and youll have some big boys. If ya need some meat shoot one of them nanny goats. If I remember right you dont eat venison do you?
